Wow what a choice Alan's pretzel bun looked amazing. I honestly cannot believe the choices. The size portions look absolutely huge too. I love pear and gorganzola salad it's one of my favourite. It all looks delicious 😋

My wife and I just sailed the Epic last week. While there were a few short comings, I cannot say that about the food. We dined at the Garden Cafe, Taste, Manhattan Room, Moderna, O'Sheehan's, and Teppanyaki. All of the food was excellent. If you dine at Teppanyaki, arrive hungry. It's a lot of great food that you probably won't be able to finish. This was our first Norwegian cruise, and we are definitely impressed with the quality of the food.

Wow, your video really made me hungry (and drool) with the wide array of foods, and the good thing is that they are all complimentary. All the food looks juicy and tasty and in generous portions. I been on the Epic a lot. I love the food until the last time. The main reason the Epic was my favorite ship was the food. I especially love the Spaghetti and the Buffet. My last cruise they didn’t have the Spaghetti every day.

Despite the negative aspects of the ship and complaints we saw, we still had a great time. I think it's all in the mindset... better to be on a cruise than at work!!! And I agree about the vegetable burrito 🤣 Enjoy your cruise!!

I've only been on the Epic once in a Studio cabin, but it was a great cruise and I enjoyed the Studio Lounge.

Getting hungry is right! Wow I had dinner and still had me wanting more! Good to know there is an option if someone wants a later breakfast. Ooo the Chinese restaurant I believe sounds like a wonderful experience. Good to know there isn’t a reservation there and to get there early. And did you say a crepe station! Sounds like a great dining experience on board this ship.

Everything we ate was included in our free at sea which gave us 2 specialty dining restaraunts included in our cruise fare.

@@TheAverageTourist I bought that free at sea package for 3 people, but they only included 2 specialty dining for two people, so my parents will go to the specialty dining! I have a question! Does that mean that their meals are paid for at the specialty for two nights? Does it have a limit?Does it cover appetizer, the main dish and dessert?What about drinks?

@brunagt24 yeah if it's part of their free at sea it's included. The wait staff can let you know for sure, but on the website I think it said up to 3 appetizers, soup or salad, 1 entree and 2 desserts would be included.

Hello again :). How often do you eat biscuits and gravy? How were the biscuits on the Epic? I know on the escape last year we had them and there was just something wrong with them lol.. They did not taste like any breakfast biscuits we'd ever had.. I even thought it was just me, but my wife was like WTH did they do to these? haha

How do you get soda at the buffet and during regular sit down dining if you bought the beverage package? Is there a bar that you go up to?

You would ask your server. They will take your card if you don't have a beverage package and charge it to your sea card and bring you the receipt to sign.

It depends... we just got back from an NCL cruise and at the specialty dining that's included in your free at sea, they tell you how many of each category you can get now. You might be able to add something in depending on your server, but this time seemed more "controlled"

@anneraso5621 don't feel awkward, I asked! I wanted to know so I could 1. Order what I am allowed to, and 2. Make sure I'm sharing the right info. At the main dining room, as long as there's no up charge you can basically order anything. For the specialty dining with your free at sea, that's where there's more of a guideline given for what you can order. At least that was our experience 2 weeks ago.

I have sailed NCL numerous times and I have asked for additional entrees/ dessert and they were happy to accommodate you. No additional charges.

Oh my God! The lunch menu...Burgers hot dogs and French fries in every lunch menu. what a disappointment. Our last cruise was 9 years ago ad the lunch menu included Indian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Now it's burgers or hot dogs.

Nice video. I'm going on this ship in 3 days. 🛳️ Unfortunately, they are going to charge to eat at Shanghai starting this year in 2025. No longer complimentary 😭, but oh well. Inflation and high food costs are making cruising more expensive.
