Feeling very lucky after watching this video. I love my Fjord boy. He's been a pet his whole life. He's 18 now and never been broke. I put a saddle on him and my husband got on and other than being clumsy under the weight, he was a teddy bear. That's a Fjord for you.

I just (today) got a Fjord/qh cross - he is so calm - i rode him twice today (short 10 minutes..he needs some weight). Nothing seems to bother him. the people I bought him from are considerably younger then me (I'm 53 - they were like 26 lol) and his demeanor changed after he was around me - he was actually even quieter - but I'm a pretty calm person - i can ride but at my age I don't want to fall - I do think he is the perfect horse for anyone just getting started in horses, or kids, or older folks who want a safe calm horse to ride..

Fjords are amazing I’m a disabled vet T.B.I I was hurt in 2015 my rehabilitation was at crag hospital in Colorado I go to a ranch every week I work with a fjord horse named Tanya she works with military police and people with ptsd I want to get a fjord I love them and they are so strong lol

well I take it back..I got a shire/appy cross..who is 24 years old not 10 like i was told - & he was given away to a lady who sold him to a horse trader who sold him to me for 5 times what he is worth per his age..Vet check Every horse you will ever buy!!!

I love Norwegian Fjords! I'm 65 years old currently and am taking beginning riding lessons on one. She's so gentle and even-tempered. I have a question, please. I'm a shortie and am only 5' 2" tall. These horses are so wide that I have difficulty dismounting from the horse. (My legs are short!) Any suggestions, please?
