It just honestly amazes me how they fit all this a cruise ship. I just love it. The last cruise I was on was 2013. It been 5 years. I believe 7 or 8 months ago I found out I was going on this ship. And now there is 24 days. Like I can’t stop watching it. I’m legitimately smiling with excitement. I can’t wait

Sailing for my first time on the Getaway in November for a 9 day cruise. I have been on the Dream and the Pearl with NCL and have loved both ships. This is my 4th cruise with NCL. My service and the employees have been great each time..

Me and everyone I met on the Getaway were down at O’Sheehans literally every night. Saddest thing about it tho was saying goodbye to everyone, it felt like we knew each other forever, we all clicked so well. That’s easily the worst part of a cruise, we stay in contact and play Xbox together but it ain’t the same.

Hands down best tour out there. Keep going on Norwegian ships! Also this is a great one to be on. We had a blast. Bummed this ship isn’t an option for our next cruise.

Had to stop watching right away per constant camera movement. Slight movement, long slow shots and stills are best. If your intent was to induce motion sickness you succeeded.

Anyone have experience traveling with disabled family members? My wife is very sick and needs a lot of medical care and is in a wheelchair. My Mother-in-law is in a power chair and I also have a 9 year old to care for and keep entertained. Can you plan accessible excursions ahead of time? How is it getting around the ship? How are the accessible European excursions? We can drive to the port, but will be left off in Rome. I have to get a non stop flight back home as the family cant handle changing flights. Also it does not look like they can stay in their wheelchairs on the flight? To coordinate this, I was thinking to stay in Rome for a few days to enjoy some sights before coming back as the non stops are only once a day. Terrified about getting us to the foreign airport with wheelchairs, luggage and medical supplies and onto the plane safe and on time. Would love to hear about any experiences even remotely similar.
