Norwegian Jade - Mini Suite Stateroom

A quick tour of the mini suite stateroom with balcony on the Norwegian Jade.
The Mini-Suite stateroom was pretty spacious and accomodated 4 people very well. There is a King size, or maybe Queen size bed and a Sofa in the sitting area which converts into a bed that can sleep 2. For 4 people the storage is a bit less. There are USB ports under each bed side lamp and also one on the dressing table. There is one european and one american style power outlet. If you carry a USB, amzn.to/2F2gXCI, like we carried, it should be good enough for all your charging needs. The balcony was larger than the regular balcony staterooms but there was a table and 2 chairs only. Without more chairs all 4 people can't sit outside even though it's large enough to seat 4. The hangers in the cupboard are the type you get in hotels, fixed to the rod, so it's a good idea to carry a few of your own. We carried something like these - amzn.to/2rt91sp. Overall, the Mini Suite was comfortable and enjoyable.
We had quite a bit to pack but these packing cubes - amzn.to/2DqqbbF - really helped us a lot. kept the clothes organized. And these travel shirt folders - amzn.to/2BmdkW4 kept my shirts and pants pretty much wrinkle free. These are essential items when travelling, not just on a cruise but any mode of transport.

I like the little table by the door. Great place to keep your room keys so you don't leave them behind.

Looks equivalent to a balcony room on the Carnival line. We recently took a cruise on the Carnival Breeze, and had a spa suite, which was equivalent to the RC Mini suite. Unfortunately, the entertainment left a lot to be desired, so, am now looking elsewhere for our next cruise. Seems Royal Caribbean has everyone beat as far as suites and mini suites are concerned, much roomier. I hear Norwegian has very good food.
