Norwegian Joy Cruise to Bermuda 2023

This is a video, documenting our Cruise to Bermuda. We took a Norwegian Joy ship. It was a lot of fun!

Is the food included?

Most of the food is included. Some places charge but its made very clear when you will be charged for food and when it's complimentary.

Looks like there's so much food than RCL. Are most foods complimentary? Also would you recommend this for older kids? I don't see any kids activities. Btw, new sub here!

Hi. Going on a cruise for my first time. Is April a good time to cruise to bermuda?

It's fine. Temps will only be in the low 70s. Very comfortable.

Bermuda in April is pretty chill. Warm enough to lounge on a beach, but a lil too nippy to go swimming in the ocean. Depending on what you'd like to do, it's still a good time to go if you're looking for the cultural experience. If you want more warmth, June through the middle of Aug is the peak. They tend to get hurricanes and storms around September and on. We lover Bermuda. There's a great Mini Golf spot in King's Wharf near the beach. Mini sizes of real PGA golf courses. Pretty cool. Def check out Hamilton. Hope it's awesome. @@krich4098

So funny--"eating again." Nice video. I was on the Joy for the TA from Southampton to Miami last month. I enjoyed the ship and got to know my way around quickly. I thought it was a good size ship. It helped that there were only 2300 passengers. 👍

Def enjoyed this video. I (Gil) actually watched the whole thing haaaa Simple yet informative for certain things. You were de funny. Too bad you didn't get to play 18 holes at the mini golf course at the port. It's pretty cool. What'd you think about the Joy?

Joy was great! Very big, took a day to just learn how to navigate it. Also the Wifi was slow but everything else was great. Next time i will definitely go mini golf!

Great video! We sailed on the Joy from NYC in 2022 and with be taking our young adult/teenage kids for the first time this summer! Question about parking at Manhattan pier - do passengers and luggage get dropped at the entrance before the driver (my husband) drives the car to park in the lot? Would he just meet us at the front after parking? Thanks for any info you can provide!

Thank you so much for your support! Parking fairly simple. You drive up to the garage, in my case i was on the top floor. You pass through security and then you can drop passengers and checked luggage off. The parking lot is not that big and only about a minute walk to meet up with everyone at the entrance. Then everyone can continue to the security. Leaving after the cruise was not an issue. You leave in groups and the parking lot was not overly crowded. It took longer to get to the car than leaving the parking lot. be prepared for a lot of standing and waiting and lines until you get out to the garage

How did you get to Clearwater Beach? Was it excursion thru ship? Or did you go on your own?

Sorry for the late reply, we did it through an excursion, Caves and Waves. I think it was worth it but didn't leave much time on the beach.

Hey! I just booked the Joy for this August and had a quick question.. when you were at Clearwater beach can you walk to the beach from the restaurant where you can drink??

Yes, its about 30 feet away but its a large beach also, so you could walk more if youd like to.

@@JCrump8 Everything is pretty well labeled, explained, and guided. Everyone is really friendly and speaks English so if you have trouble, any staff member or taxi driver can help you.

Thank you! unfortunately, i dont know if you they are an additional charge because they booked up so quickly. I assume that they are because some arcade games and other activities cost money also.

lol yes, as you pull into the parking lot, they go around the outside of the car with a dog. Im not sure what they look for but I did smell some funny smokes on the boat so someone must have fooled the pup

Not until the boat is departing from the dock. They will let you know. There are many bars on the island so you can be out late.

Parking was paid. Im pretty sure we booked it on their website. If you chat with someone on the website they can help you better.

The cruise line paid for the parking ? We’ve never been offered that, last time we went we paid a lot to park at the terminal, did they pay the whole week of parking for you ?
