Norwegian Red (NRF) x Holstein cows on Rinze Haisme dairy farm in the Netherlands.
They started crossbreeding 4 years ago because they wanted a stronger and healthier cow with increased resistance to mastitis. They will be doing a 3-way cross with: Norwegian Red x Holstein x Brown Swiss/Flechvieh.

look good . i don't know if i'd ad brown swiss . they have good bone structure . but not best for raiseing or breeding but great on pasture . nice udders ;).

tell me one thing why don't you put that hydrogen peroxide which farms usually put on the udder to remove bectaria? is that important too or we can just wash our cow with tap water? and secondly in winters or summers should we wash our cows with any cold or hot water or it does impact on cow's health? thanks
