Kathy, thanks so much! Strange times, I wish I could be there for you. For what it's worth, I'll be at The Monterey Plaza Hotel - Schooners Restaurant from 11:30 - 2:30. I'm not actually supposed to tell people because of Covid restrictions...Take Care

Hey john could you plz tell me how to anchor while fingerpicking I am 14 it gets difficult and well done
@JohnSherryLooper4 жыл бұрын
Hey Shalley! I've found that for me, when fingerpicking, I anchor with my pinky, sometimes on the bridge and sometimes higher up depending on if I want to pick closer to the neck for a warmer sound. Hope that helps. Fingerpicking can be quite challenging! :-)

@@JohnSherryLoopertnx budyy and plzz tell should I buy a alvarez grand auditorium modeel?
@JohnSherryLooper4 жыл бұрын
@@pratyapandit3633 You should play several different guitars and find the one the sounds and feels the best. I don't know if you have a music store that's open where you live though...I'm obviously very happy with my Breedlove and I know they have less expensive models that are in the same price range as the Alvarez.

Hello John I have a question when I use my looper the lead lines do not always cut across the mix , do you use any specific pedal for acoustic
@JohnSherryLooper4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Shashank, For years I would just be careful to keep my rhythm tracks not too loud so when I’d add the lead it would cut through. A few years ago though I started using the Kealy 4 knob compressor, and I love it! I actually wore one out and now have the newer model. It really enhances my lead tone without losing the acoustic guitar sound.

@@JohnSherryLooperreally appreciate your quick reply , thanks for the tip. I'll check them out now. Yes i have been keeping my Rythm in lower volume but sometimes that volume change does not "feel right"
