Still wish the V8 was available from Toyota with automatic, or maybe the 300 series V6 with automatic
@Stevegrande19 ай бұрын
Yea can’t work out why Toyota never put an auto behind these, I reckon they lost a big market for these things due to manual only. They only changed them to auto now because a lot of company’s that buy them had to change to auto for OH&s reasons, same reason they had to add airbags and abs on previous model

U can still use 200series auto on it

we got that already with an auto as well. Bull79 is the pinnacle. this is a great alternative and proven to be very capable almost stock.

Nice video. I love the new 70 Series look and am very interested in the 4cly. I think it will be a great vehicle in the long run. What I would like to see is a comparison like this but with the Norwell Bull. 4 banger auto against the v8 auto see compare drivability off-road. Great video all the same. I want one.

What’s your thoughts on the GXL model against the 22 SR5 plus Hilux. Same running gear but much heavier and $15k more expensive Get a bit more payload but to spend that extra $$ on the Hilux would give you way more add ons and one awesome rig

Two completely different cars. Depends what you are planning on what you are planning on using the car for. Both are great platforms.

You seemed to drive the V* harder especially when in that low range section., maybe you should use less throttle next time and let the power of the v8 walk you up?

I only buy 4 cyclone cars. I've had a few landcruisers over time including a JDM LJ78 why the 2.4L engine. It's was great. The engine was shit but I never had any issues, even off road. You don't need all the huge power. Autos work better off road as well. I wouldn't spend the money on a new or used overpriced 4WD anyway. Just not worth it.. I bought a used ssangyong Actyon for a very good price and it went very well on a trip to the snowy mountains and Victorian snow fields/high country..
