I echo the thoughts of "Yellowhammer20)", Michael. My Dad (died 1991) worked on Prince of Wales Road within earshot of the Carrow Road roar. He used to work out what the score was from the noise and then, when they opened the gates with 15 minutes to go, ready for the crowd to leave...he would sneak in! Now "upstairs", I believe he's having the heckofaparty. In Teemo Pukki we have another Terry Bly (and more!). Don't EVER, Michael, stop providing these sensitive and emotional insights into our beloved team - you verbalise what other can only see with their eyes. Thank you for your skills, used on behalf of those of us exiled a long way from our home county.

Here here. Michael's videos are one of the first things I look for after the game as they are honest, passionate and intelligent. The emotion is a massive part of what makes them.

Please forgive my intrusion, but I thought the approach to your role around the time you lost your Dad was incredibly commendable. I imagine you are aware, but both the intrinsically professional and personal approach you took to your reporting during that time (and do, in general, btw) was very apparent. It was moving for many, myself included. Whilst the loss of a loved one never true stops hurting, moments in life that bring us closer to their memory and can be somewhat a liberation from our grief. I may be wrong, but what comes through your reports is that the amazing journey that NCFC have been on since has been a truly cathartic experience for you personally. The good things that happen in life help us treasure what is truly important. I thank you for sharing your experience and allowing the personal nature of your thoughts to cross over into your professional role. Respect to your Dads memory. I’m sure many have gained from your journey, Micheal. All the Best OTBC.

Thanks Michael. A great report as usual. Think that rates as the best city performance in my 50 years of supporting the club along with the win at Bayern Munich. A fantastic effort from the players and praise too for the Daniel Farke and his coaching team for the preparation of the players and the way the team executed the game plan. Otbc !

Stuart Webber and Daniel Farke to be given the freedom of Norwich. So proud of the boys. How do they keep unearthing such talented players at rock bottom prices? They then improve them and get them playing Farkeball. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but just look at Alex Tettey. He now passes forward, lol. They are displaying their talent in front of the world and I hope they stay with us for the remainder of this season. It would be such a shame for any of them to leave in January. OTBC

Colin Bland I just don’t see anyone leaving in January, especially if things keep going so well - because that would mean their values would all be higher come the summer.
@colinbland37165 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the response Michael. I think you are correct my only reservation is teams can be desperate in January and if we get a silly, high bid then given the self-funding model we might just accept it.
@michaeljbailey5 жыл бұрын
Colin Bland True of course, and that’s why you can never say never.

@@michaeljbailey When we do get offers, will the players want to leave though??? This is all a bit special (they'll probably never ever find this kind of atmosphere, love and support again in their careers - seems unheard of in my experience) and I can only see them leaving for Champions League football.

Buendia looked like.a Man City player today. Him, Godfrey and Amadou are top 6 players, keep it quiet.
@alanalan92425 жыл бұрын
I'm convinced Buendia will one day play for Real Madrid or Barcelona. I just hope we can keep him for a little while longer and get a shedload of money when he finally does go. The commentators are saying how out of position the Man City defenders were for the second goal, but that is partly due to the brilliant flick by Buendia that took him past his man and completely changed in a flash the situation on the pitch. IMO, that second goal has not got anywhere near the praise it deserves, including Pukki for having the intelligence to pick out Cantwell rather than shoot. A fabulous performance by the whole team.
