As a Pompey fan this is both amazing and heartbreaking to see. Such a talent & gutted to lose him but props to Norwich for doing it. Haven’t seen a player interviewed by his parent club after a loan before and it was nice to see from that view. Every Pompey fan will be keeping an eye on his career. Just hope he returns one day

A massive part of the Pompey promotion push. Our main wingers signed last summer Whyte and Scully didn’t work out for one reason or another and Abu really stepped up. Absolutely unplayable in the second half of the season, especially incredible given that he hadn't really played right wing before from what I hear. The attitude and work ethic he has is top class. He tracked back really well too. He is a frighteningly prospect.

As Pompey fans we can only thank Norwich for loaning this unbelievable talent to us in what proved to be the perfect loan deal I would hope from both prospectives! Thank you Abu for all your hard work and what you’ve done for Pompey. We’ll always have a place in our hearts for you and I’d like to think you’ll always hold Pompey dear and cherish those memories. I guess the perfect outcome for Pompey now is that Norwich win the playoffs and decide you’d benefit from another loan spell with us in the Championship before plying your trade in the Prem but I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
