My step mom bought 4 of these when they came out. she passed away last year an my dad gave my 10 year old son the black one all them still new in the box

I wonder if these are American made buy Schwinn or are these made overseas in China ?, because when Schwinn was still making bicycles up until 1982 after that a large Chinese Bicycle Company by the name of giant took over making them overseas with the Schwinn label.

I still have 2 one for 50$ and one for 75$ I had them for 15 years but I moved on to my 2 genesis gx7 Astras one chorme and black and the other Cady chrome orange and black 7 speeds

@@josephgirardot4963 oh man that was many years ago when they 1st came out that I was looking. Kid is in her 30s now, not sure she would be able to ride it now 😁 appreciate the offer though. If I could afford it now I'd hang it up. I'm sure u won't have a problem selling it , much luck my friend.

Ugh…. Why do people freak over the big box store bikes??? The 3 speed bikes are the real collectors. The non 3 speed bikes that are rare are the Spider bikes, the stealth bikes, the racing( with red blck and white seat) the 20/20( 20” front) , the 3 tribal bikes( no occ logo… just schwinn with tribal decals not flames) the army ( flat green), and the promo bikes( like the napa auto bikes)… those were very limited models. Remember these bikes are not USA made schwinns… they’re made by a company who owns schwinn name called Pacific Cycle and made in China….. and guess what??? They are still being made today. Alibaba is where you can find them. They are not called Schwinn. I picked up what idiot collectors would call a rare bike… called LA Cycles “big mo 20”.. at a garage sale for $25. Will sell for $50( i fixed flat tire)…. Its the exact same frame, wheels, chain, fenders… as the “Schwinn” branded bikes.

The last I checked, they're still making those old school looking Stingrays that Schwinn put out, in limited numbers, back in 2020 as well. It just doesn't say Schwinn on it, and they call it a Ting-Ray. No joke! I laughed so hard, and had to screenshot it!!😂 Meanwhile, you got folks tryin to sell their 2020 Stingray on ebay for $800, thinkin theyve got something.THAT special. Smh.

Right!!! Yeah or sellers selling walmart bikes for $500 that are rusted out, dry rotted, seats basically gone… yeah… i went to a guy who was selling his… pointed out the made in China decal… he looked deflated. He was told by a buddy that his bike was rare.. is was the black bike everyone has. I started telling him about the shifter bikes that could only be purchased at Schwinn stores… and some of their limited bikes like the spider bike, stealth… ect and then told him I paid 200 for my son’s spider bike that came with oem book, and cardboard cutout for the front wheel..it it was in mint condition. The only reason I went was wife found it on facebook said it might be worth checking… nope. I would not offer.. as yeah they dont take to rust well.

@@KaplanCycles well Captain America is a popular comic book hero and ghost Rider is my favorite comic book hero so you're sort of a little bit of both of them.I don't see why Kaplan America shouldn't have his own comic book. Or at least his own line of toys or diecast motorcycles. Just a thought..... There's no way I can afford any of your red white and blue Honda cr500s however I think I can afford a diecast model of one. (Just saying)

Yea when I lived in Venice Beach Ca , I saw dudes that put 2 stroke engines on these guys ,and they would scream rt past LAPD, and they let em ride.
