nOS, or new Operating System, is a Switch title that basically turns your console into a basic tablet computer or PDA. How good could it be; what goodies could lie inside? I usually don't cover content involving gaming consoles and general technology mixed together, but hey, it's not the first time I've done it (I hope at least a few of us remember the KZbin on Nintendo 3DS in 2022 video), and it's certainly not going to be the last (looking at you, Nintendo 3DS and DSi).
Anyways, nOS is quite a nice piece of software. Finding things like this on the Switch are honestly a novelty (especially when compared to the general use Wii channels and DSi apps). I got it back in 2023 after hearing about it on Twitter (from IGN's Twitter, of all places) while I was digging for memes on the social media site. I found it interesting, and I found it was on sale at the time, by a large amount too, so I went ahead and bought it! Pretty nice, since I don't play on the Switch much these days (apart from the occasional Pokemon Sword or Pokemon Scarlet gameplay from time to time), so, yeah.
There are some minor inconveniences, but those didn't hamper my experience too much. The DLC for nOS is even free! (or at least, it was the last time I checked). Anyways, I hope you enjoy video.
