Just got out of the theater less than an hour ago.. My expectations were so high. Exceeded even higher. Without a doubt my favorite film of the year. I’m so happy I got to experience this on Christmas Day. What an epic present to us horror fans.

Saw it tonight. It really couldn't be over-hyped, in my opinion. This was a fantastic, haunting and beautiful film. If you're a fan of Eggers past films, guarantee you'll enjoy this

I thought Thomas would end up becoming a vampire at the end since Orlok bit him so many times.

That would have been an interesting twist! I don’t even know if Ellen was going to become a vampire. They didn’t do anything with others drinking Orlocks blood.

Or better yet, McCavoy would have been the best for that. Since I just recently seen his range in his latest thriller movie and the unbreakable sagas. WDYT?

The only ones we might see are Knock, but he was killed. Ellen was drained but there’s no indication that she became one. I can’t imagine there will be a sequel, but I guess we have to see how this movie does!

Literally what happened in the original movie that this is a remake of. Ellen sacrifices herself to kill the vampire. Anna dies trying to protect her children. They both go out like bad asses.
