The AccuBond delivers Partiton-like terminal performance with Ballistic Tip-like ballistic coefficients. Have used it in .375 H&H, .300 WM, and .308 Win. for decades with outstanding, drop it right there results. It, and the Terminal Ascent, are perhaps the best all-round hunting bullets. Their controlled expansion allows use in magnums on light--bodied game such as whitetail and pronghorn without massive meat loss, yet provides outstanding penetration for elk, moose, bear, etc. They carry velocity downrange much better than the partition but expand just as reliably. Excellent weight retention, too! Perhaps not match grade, but more than accurate enough for the job and proven game killers. Can't say enough about them.

Hard to beat the terminal ascents . Both are awesome bullets but I think the federal is a superior all around hunting bullet . Opens at slower velocities but retains a ton of weight with that solid copper shank

Now compare the Terminal Accent to the AccuBond LR.. The LR opens up at velocities just as low as the TA..

My Fix 308 hates the Accubond from Nosler but likes the Spitzer from Nosler. 🤷‍♂️

... the 165 grain federal factory premium accubond ammo is amazingly accurate in my blue BLR '81 lightweight takedown in 308 Win ... usually 2 almost in the same hole and the 3rd about 1/2" away @ 100 yds if the 3 shots are fired in rapid succession with no cooling interval ... that skinny BLR barrel heats up fast ... if the deer isn't down by the 2nd shot it'll be long gone anyway so shot #3 is irrelevant ... 1 chronographed an average MV of 2713 fps in the BLRs 20" barrel ... the box data said 2800 fps

Good info. But what terrain you hunt is a big thing. Elk and big stuff yes go with high end stuff!! Deer with in 300?? REM cor lockt or Winchester power points!! Drop like a hammer!! Like I said all depends on where you are hunting.
