Great weekend of racing. The cars in the Cannonball get three runs each and the two with the quickest combined times go to the final. This year two of the slingshot dragsters were only separated by a thousandth of a second to face the Apache funny car in the final. But the quick consistency of the funny car won through in the end. The final is seen at 14.43.

That style of format I believe is called the Chicago style that looked like an excellent event reminds me of Bakersfield here in California another classic nostalgia venue called a march meet
