The whole “you can’t sit with us” or “you can’t sit here” thing, I knew a kid in middle school who got told that one day, ripped the absolute loudest ass to the point the entire cafeteria when quiet, and then just calmly told them, “now you can’t sit there either”, completely deadpan, and just walked away while they were beginning to scatter while trying not to vomit, while the rest of the cafeteria burst out laughing! Absolute legend move! Weird, yes, disgusting, yes; but an effective comeback? Absolutely! Turns out the dude intentionally took leftover Taco Bell to school with his lunch, ate it early before lunchtime, just waiting for them to say that to him again, just so he could put them in their place. And since the group that said that to him were assholes and everybody else hated them too for being bullies, suffice to say lots of people thought it was absolutely hilarious and wanted to sit with him at lunch after.

So here are two facts about the vine at 32:23, one fun and one sad. Fun Fact: That is actually Ray Narvaez Jr of Achievement Hunter and now Twitch fame. Don't worry, he was one of the good ones that left early and is still fun to watch. He did a whole stream, a couple years ago now, of reacting to moments from his old Achievement Hunter, RoosterTeeth and Twitch content, picked by fans and he fully agrees that he was such a menace and apologizes for some of the dumb antics he did back at AH/RT. Plus he's done some collabs with Vshojo and other Vtubers. Sad Fact: That vine was recorded and uploaded to his then-girlfriend-now-wife, Tina Narvaez's, vine account on the day we all found out about George Michael's passing, hence why Ray's belting the song out at that moment.

Vine was the peak of internet memetic culture. The limitations of the platform forced people to learn how to make impactful & memorable content within a mercilessly-short time frame. It taught a generation of amateur creatives the fundamentals of vaudevillian comedy and variety performance, along with digital media skills that made the platform unique. Vine only existed for a handful of years (thanks to the curse of poor financing), but for as popular as TikTok has become it has yet to rival the creative quality of Vine.
