Excellent nostalgic video like usual. I am so impressed with the material you put out weekly.

Wow! I noticed after your reply that I couldn’t recall seeing new content from you. Well turned out I didn’t check the bell icon. I’m glad you commented on my video so I got to see this gem. It’s a very good essay who’s opinions I share. I’m a bit in a bad place right now, hardly can work because of heart issues caused by a chronic illness. And so I sought refuge in old movies books, and childhood friends online (old and new coming together). And it’s weird that not all retro stuff from a certain era gives a warm fuzzy feeling. My friend Wolfgang from Retro is the new Black reviews some old gen 1 3D games. And I have fond memories of the mid 90s and playing and modding PS1s. But they didn’t evoke any nostalgia for me. I dug up my NES with Super Mario Bros 3 and emotions came flooding over me. And I think that’s the human aspect. Until the early 90s I lived at home, and so you shared these gadgets or emotions with others. In the mid 90s I graduated and lived on my own and thus played those games on my own. I have immense nostalgia for 90s guitars and i realized it’s not the guitars. It’s the fact that I parttime helped a luthier/music store owner fixing amps and doing guitar setups so he could do his commission work. I remember the people mainly and probably their emotions reflect on guitars from the late 80s-mid 90s. I think I remember the people and the setting because of the hardware. And when that setting was good it’s a nostalgia moment. So great episode! ❤

Hi! I don't put out content weekly but I try to have one or two videos per month and been investing over two years of my life on YT full time so I'm here! The bell is one thing but even when it's on YT doesn't always announce it because they say it depends what you've been watching recently. They're weird like that. I'm sorry to hear about your illness. I am a believer in positive thinking and I find that if nostalgia brings about positive thoughts and emotions that it helps tremendously. I agree with you that's it's the human aspect. I remembering sharing some great moments with friends back in the day. Doesn't mean I didn't have my alone days to skip school and play for eight hours but that's another story. I hope you hit that bell icon and catch up on the content. I appreciate you watching and commenting! Have a great day!

@@spacefacegaming Well it's me cloned. LOL I trained AI to write like me and then told it to write about Nostalgia. I then corrected and rewrote some parts. I was curious what AI would have to say about that subject.

Really interesting hearing this from a computer! How did you train it?
@RetroRepairGuy Жыл бұрын
Basically I trained it by feeding it text of how I wrote and the style of writing I wanted with instructions on how to write more like a human than machine. I Then told it to write me something on nostalgia with specific guidelines and "course corrected" along the way. Once I had enough material I revised and edited it, adding also a few sentences here and there. But the gist of it comes from ChatGPT. Thanks for watching!
