Happy birthday! Can you explain how you set this up? I recently bought the M-Vave SMK25 MK2, a bluetooth midi dongle and the Seqtrak (and I love it). This way I can wirelessly use the SMK25 with the Seqtrak and keep the USB free for charging. I am thinking to save up for the SMP404 MK2. I was wondering what connects to what in which way in terms of the midi in/out connection. And can you make this a DAW-less setup?

it's a totally DAWless setup - the SEQTRAK can power the launchkey when you use a usb hub. The wireless solution is a great idea! I had the mini key launchpad, and swap it for the full size key, because of the user chord function, but I hadn't consider using the SMP404 as a chord pad function. I love how minimal the setup was and stay dawless.

It has mastering effects (bus 3+4) that people LOVE - compression, tape emulation, etc. as a sound processor and sampler it’s fantastic. I do struggle to bring tracks from start to finish all the way through on the 404 though

When I connect my seqtrak with midi keyborad, I try to play they key, but why it's always the different scale of the drum instead of synth?

MIDI channels - your keyboard needs to be set to channel 8,9, or 10 to play the synth tracks
