The Sooty Show - The Hard Sell

Matthew has become a mail order catalogue agent and is practicing his sales technique. He tries to persuade firstly Sooty, and then Soo, to order something from the catalogue, but they aren't interested as they have both become agents for rival catalogues. Then Sweep sees Soo and Sooty's catalogues and tells them he wants to order some items from them both. But when Soo mentions about paying for the order it falls through, as Sweep didn't realise he would have to pay for his order and has no money. Sooty tries to sell Matthew a set of encyclopaedia by asking him difficult questions that he has to keep looking up to find the answers, but then Matthew realises what Sooty is doing and tells him he's not interested. Then Sweep tries to sell Matthew some brushes, but they are brushes he's found around the house. Magician Ali Bongo calls by and performs some magic tricks for Matthew, Sooty, Sweep and Soo. Then later Matthew sings a song called 'I've Got You'.
