I don’t know why the audio sounds like that, either it was my oncoming sore throat, or I need to fiddle with my settings. Facts I left out/forgot to add: Blue was originally a male cat named Mr. Orange, which changed to Mr. Blue after deciding orange was too harsh a color. Steve Burns was only 23 when he was first cast for the show. Steve was much more energetic and goofy in the pilot, but toned it down for the final product. Side Table Drawer wasn’t in the pilot episode, the Handy Dandy Notebook was in Steve’s pocket. Aleisha Allen was still in kindergarten when she was cast as Side Table Drawer, and wasn’t credited much in the first season since she only had one line most of the time: “Blue’s clues! I’m so excited!” Allen would go on to star in Nickelodeon’s School of Rock, and later in Are We There Yet? And its sequel Are We Done Yet? Cameron Bowen would go on to become a successful voice and screen actor, eventually voicing Tim Drake in several DC projects. Burn’s mental health apparently stemmed from the contrast in personalities of Show Steve and Real Steve, and he would find himself acting like Show Steve more and more frequently in real life, contrasting his own more quiet personality; the stress of what would appear to be a budding split personality would cause him to begin balding early and decided to leave the show before he went completely bald. Donovan Patton was 24 when he took over the role of host for Steve. Patton was a stage actor before Blue’s Clues, which was his big break, and would go on to be a successful voice and screen actor. Both Burns and Patton would reprise their roles on Blue’s Clues & You, Steve as a private Investigator, and Joe working at a present store.

The episode with Steve's Elvis Impression was called Season 1 Episode 16 "What Story Does Blue Want To Play?", and the other episode With Steve and Blue Adding sound to Silent Movie was called Season 3 Episode 4 "What's That Sound?".
