This was a wonderful cap for my day! I spent today writing and getting my Christmas cards for church and those that I mail. It was a long day from 10AM to 6PM. I finally took the time to eat some soup and sit down to watch your video! I did 90 cards. I know a lot of people have stopped sending cards but I never forget birthdays and special occasions. Christmas is a big deal for me and I make cards for all the other holidays...not Christmas though! I love the bar cart because it looks so vintage. I remember them from the 60's...all the women in my family had them. I also love the ceramic tree in the middle of your table. My Grandmother made several of them in the 1970's and gave them away to my mother and all of my aunt's. Her grandchildren now have all of them. Mine comes out every year so I loved seeing it on your table! I really enjoyed this on this cool evening. It was my respite before my post office ordeal tomorrow! Everything looks beautiful and wonderful. Your Spode is gorgeous! I have all of my Waechtersbach (Vectersbach) Christmas dishes out from Germany so I'm with you there on the dinnerware!🎄🍽

I envy you in a good way the heritage you have with all the wonderful things you've inherited from not just aunts and grandmothers, but also another generation away with the great -aunts, etc. I'm 70 now, first generation Canadian and only had 1 grandmother here who came over from Europe. So lovely for you to enjoy the memories as you use all the lovely pieces. Beautiful, as always.

What a lovely place to share holiday meals with your friends and family! I love that you use family heirlooms in your table settings. Here’s a trick I found helpful when setting a table and dining in a restaurant. When seated at the table, make a circle with your thumb and pointer finger. The right hand forms a “d” for drink and the left hand forms a “b” for bread. This trick keeps me from eating someone else’s bread or drinking their water 😉

I love your ceramic tree in the middle of your table and noticed that you're missing the star. I have one that I got at an antique store that was also missing the star, so I bought one to replace it, and mine has frosted tips on the ends of each branch. It takes a long tube light bulb that goes up the center. I so love and learn from you! Your decorating skills are phenomenal, my dear! God bless you, and Merry Christmas!
