Danas nam ni pjevanje na engleskom ne pomaže ni silna koreografija, a prije nam je nam je dovoljno bilo cak i jednostavan nastup pjevanje na svom jeziku i ostali bi zamjeceni.

Sorry but Lighthouse, My friend, Nebo etc. is not on the same level as Nostalgija, Neka mi ne svane, Sveta ljubav and etc. and the placings are showing it. Since 2006 other than Lako je sve I don't remember any song from Croatia that deserved top 10.

"Lighthouse" was worth top10! A "Nebo" was worthy of the top15, it's just now more competition than it was in the 90's ... All the same, the number of countries, almost twice as many as now also plays a role, it was easier to take the 5th-6th place in the 90's , than now

And then we won.I should be elated as a Norwegian,but that afternoon we lost our little brother in a car accident only 23 yrs old and the shock made eurovision playing on the tv in the background a blur. Someone recorded it and I watched it back months later.Without a shadow of a doubt Croatia and Nostalgi should have won.To this day my favorite song.

Las canciones eurovisivas de Yugoslavia (y las ex-repúblicas yugoslavas) tienen todas o muchas de ellas ese estilo yugoslavo -obviamente- y a la vez medieval. Debe ser su estilo de canción tradicional que tiene orígenes en la época de los juglares y trovadores (Baja Edad Media. Ejemplo transparente es "Jedan Dan" de los "trovadores de Dubrovnik" en 1968. Gran canción también.)
