Hello lad! What an interesting cigarillo/ cigar! It sounds like a solid choice with a coffee when you don't have the time for a proper cigar or you don't have a proper cigar. Thanks for sharing, take care! And kudos to the lad that sent it over for review!

Oh yes, definitely a great option. In general I'm not a big fan of cigarillo style cigars but this one exceeded my expectations. Thank you for the comment man!

Perfect little cigars tried them on a whim and now keep them all the time probably better than any purito out there too much smoother and more flavour than you would expect.

How would you say it compares to something like a Partagas short ?
@StogieLads2 жыл бұрын
The Partagas Short is a true long-filler cigar so that's definitely miles more complex. That's also about twice as long of a smoke I'd say. I would say this compares more to the Cohiba and Trinidad shorts (which are machine-made cigarillos) although this Italian Cigar was slightly higher quality as it is hand-rolled and stayed with cool smoke for much longer than those do!

Hey lad I'm a fellow smoker and live in sweden as well and love the work you guys are putting in , I have a question, when it comes to smoking a cigar for some reason I dont feel confident at the moment in distinguishing the different tones and flavours from the immediate exhale but sense more of the flavours from the retrohale , have you ever experienced this from your experience..
@StogieLads2 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, cool to connect with a fellow Swede! Yes, the retro hale is certainly a way to get a lot more flavor. The olfactory system is much more sensitive when it comes to taste, so what you're experiencing is entirely normal!

Hi, really enjoy your videos and relatively new to cigars myself. Curious to know roughly how often or how many cigars you smoke on average a month and your thoughts or others on health affects.
@StogieLads2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for reaching out man! We've touched on this topic in our podcast episodes a bit, but for me it varies a bit. I usually smoke between 2-5 cigars a week, but sometimes it is 1, and sometimes if there's a special reason it can be up to 10. Some weeks I don't smoke at all if there's a reason for that too. The health effects are inconclusive with today's research, but in general, if you're not smoking more than around one a day you should be okay. You can check out this episode for a more in depth discussion! kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJzZfmeveJmdl7M

Where are you located? These seem to be sold mostly only in Italy and perhaps in the UK.

great brand, I was waiting for this, there are exceptionally good quality cigars for the price that this brand produces, even though this is the entry level
@StogieLads2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome man! Yeah I was surprised with how good the quality of this was for such a small short-filler stick!

What would you recommend as the best of this brand? I'm going to Italy soon.
@Augustus_Imperator Жыл бұрын
@@Coincidentia_Oppositorum Sestiere, Doge, Clandestino and Fondatore are the best in my opinion, they are a bit different in price and dimension between themselves, Dog and Sestiere are the average, others are bigger, but it's a small brand, it's not as widely available as bigger brands like toscano cigars or ambasciator italico. it's mainly in the northern part of the country

That’s a big mug for an espresso, that’s gotta be quadruple shots in there!
@StogieLads2 жыл бұрын
Hahaha yeah looking back at the video now it certainly looks massive! I went for a "lungo" option which is basically an espresso shot with a higher water ratio so that made it bigger than usual. The mug itself is also one of those weird "two layer" mugs so it almost has a magnifying effect too!

45 ring gauge? Looks more like 25. Love toscano so curious to try this

Toscano cigar get their leaves from kentucky america. 100% kentucky leaves. Do they still count as italian now ? They only roll it in italy.
@StogieLads2 жыл бұрын
Toscano seem to get their wrappers from the US only. The fillers are Italian from what I can find. The cigar I'm smoking in this video isn't a Toscano though, mind you, and is in fact 100% Italian.

Nostrano del Brenta is "avanone" tobacco of cuban origin. Tobavvo Havana came in Venetian Republica in XVVIII century. After 3 centuriesavanone is an italian variety. This production is quite unique because is an havana cultivated in italian Alps.
@GianlucaMaione4 ай бұрын
i'm from Italy... we grow kentucky here (and havana too), some "italian" cigars have only italian tobacco, some the mix italian/american, a few are all american tobacco... the taste is different between italian and american kentucky as between the havana too, and mixing them gives you even different taste (like US wrapper and italian filler, or italian wrapper and italian/US filler..) so yes, italian cigars are 100% italian, we use some US kentucky for the different taste in some cigars so some are "puros" some not... and about 99% of our cigars looks the same in the shape, a cone... the Nostrano is the only one using havana tobacco (and it's really unique as a tobacco from cuba grown in italy from centuries) for the cigars while the other "brands" use mostly kentucky (mostly from italy, or the US) more or less fermented, smoked, aged... best thing about italian cigars is that you never need a humidor or any "special" care or storage...
