I’m located in California and I so love watching you drive and do deliveries. The scenery is beautiful, some of the buildings you pass are old and I love seeing them. You never see anything but freeways in Calif., no trees, no greenery. I love listening to you talk, some of the words you use have a all together different meaning here. LOVE your new truck. Those rubber mounted side lights are a really cheap option for a cool looking truck. Be better with flush mounted unit's, great video, though, and I'm glad you repositioned the forward facing camera 👏👏

I work for a well known haulage company and went on holiday a couple of weeks ago, came back to my truck which wasn't totally wrecked inside but someone's smacked it into a curb and knocked out the tracking plus damaged something else. Drove perfect before I went on holiday and now it's got a nasty vibration through the stearing wheel plus through the whole floor. Good video luke, I just hope they sort the storage out for you, I know what it's like being a tramper myself

Have you tried a putting a squeeze of silicone on the panel . Let it set, might help the vibes. Works with my caravan when screws keep coming loose.

I think it’s like £10 or something maybe 20, but it’s the best money you can spend saves so much time. And whenever you’re at delivery points, forklift drivers, always complimented saying that it’s a cool idea 😂

would definitely be wasting time watching somebody with a full stack of HGV experience drive in real life, Assessors & Instructors alike short tempers with any other Drivers, that's the experience I'm gaining. It might be different in Aviation. The Essential Truckers Handbook is a handy Checklist for day to day, especially Coupling and if you're not doing it day in, day out and need to refresh, or switching from Class 2 to Class 1 or Coaches and back etc

I reckon a dab of clear silicon on the underside of those indicator/ brake lights would solve the issue of them turning upwards after a journey. All I know is that they would annoy me having to keep turning them to their correct orientation.

Is there any option for your boss to upgrade those side lights? I mean they look cheap and if they're constantly flapping about that's surely not good. Can't they be replaced with solid mounts? They would drive me mad... I assume they are the way they are so they're less likely to be damaged but at the expense of the drivers sanity 😅

Why do truck driver just turn up and think ok you'll get unloaded just wait your turn

Because we have other things to do and by not being unloaded when we turn up, messes things up not only for the day but the week. Other deliveries are then held up too. Long term this may increase delivery rates because not as much is getting done in a day which intern will increase the in store prices which you pay for 👍🏻 If a company has ordered the stuff, I think it’s perfectly acceptable and expected to be unloaded when we turn up
