Andy I thank you so much for the cli dump.. Thumbs up from us who don't have a finesse and your expertise with tuning in Betaflight. I flew this, the Geprc Phantom and the original Tinyhawk as well as the new Tinyhawk S and I must say I had loads of fun doing crazy aerobatic maneuvers with the two cell freestyle but running through the trees as a slalom course and around obstacles the original Tinyhawk with the Mockingbird tune just took the lead in every way except flight times.. the Geprc Phantom with 650 2s flew for over 11 minutes in mixed flying and was the quietest of all four.
@Largetalons5 жыл бұрын
You should give the phantom another try with a 450 2s or 300mah 3s. It's really setting a handicap to run that big of a 2s in it against the two tinyhawks.
@Billbobaker5 жыл бұрын
@@Largetalons True and I will try it with the smaller battery packs.. I run 550 and 520's on my Tinyhawk original and the s version and they are still nimble.

@@Largetalons Drone Camps recommends a 3s 450 and that is quite a bit heavier than the 2s 650 and 550's and loves the performance.

Well the manufacturer recommends 300mah 3s for the phantom and with an 11 minute reported flight I would wager that performance is being traded off for flight times with that setup.

Good review Andy! Emax are smashing it at the moment. I've got the tinyhawk v1 & v2. I'm definitely going to be getting this little beast for a bit of playground fun and tight spaces where a 3 inch would be too much. They are really good at releasing products that are just bind and fly and no bother with pids and other annoyances! i've flown the v1 tinyhawk to within an inch of it's life and all i've broken are props! couple of quid later and boom, your back in the air again😊. Very good company with very reliable products

Great review! Seems like a good one. Just wish they would’ve changed the cam and vtx. I won the tinyhawk s on their Instagram giveaway a bit back and while I love how it flys and it does seem to handle better than the original it’s not as fast to me. On 2s the speed seems just a hair faster than the 1s model. The thing I hate about both of them is the Fpv feed I get white flashes in the feed and makes it hard to see to fly. And all of a sudden today my 2s th doesn’t work. It worked fine yesterday and today nothing. No power at all. I didn’t even crash it. Weird. But overall my th with mockingbird at least in angle mode flys better but the 2s even on 1s flys way better in acro. Now for the new th freestyle it definitely seems like a great one and can still use the same batteries in 1s or 2s modes. I do like that. And of course I just ordered the betafpv hx100 Monday and now Emax comes out with this one lol. I am a Emax fanboy but I’m not sure ima grab this one I wanna wait to see what the new diatone gtb339 and gtb229 brings.
