This argument always ends up in a bait and switch. “ I no black I Dominican “ makes no sense because you can be Dominican and black or other races as well. The issue here is the hatred for black peoples causes them to SWITCH the argument to claiming that EVERY SINGLE Dominican is black and that’s a totally different argument.

Im puerto rican cuban and black and growing up my mother taught me that puerto rican is black. But i would often be confused on how to identify racially, hispanic/latino or black. My father who is a black man always told me to identify as black because its about my race not my ethnicity. On the other hand, whenever i encountered a dominican especially the older generations they were always defensive about associating black with Dominican and kept it as "im dominican" like its its own race. @septemberterry646925 күн бұрын
Who cares… ethnicity is not your race. You can not create a race. This shouldn’t even be an argument. Your race is either black, white, Asian, Native American Indian, pureto ricin’s, Dominicans, etc is Not a race it is your ethnic background that’s it. You can be black and Dominican at the same time. Pureto Rican and white at the same time. It was the joining of races that made up these people on these islands. Not 1 Dominican man and 1 Dominican woman came together and created the Dominican etc people. Your ancestry is going to tell you your DNA makeup, your origin. Black is the only shade that comes in every color. Furthermore no one is white or black for that matter. It’s rediculous to associate race with color in the first place bc people of color come in every shade and hue of Brown. Africans created every race of people thru Adam and Eve. Color comes from melanin in your skin, the lack of melanin or bone at all gives you pale skin. No protection from the sun ☀️ at all. This is why a darker skin person can scrape themselves and the skin comes off and underneath it’s white. A white person can scrape themselves and the skin comes off underneath is red. They have no layer of melanin as a added barrier of protection. Melanin is a Blessing by the creator. People need to wake up from the brainwashing and understand reality and not the false history that has been taught and perpetuated over time. Melanin is aGift from God to his Chosen people!!!
