Miniverse has a new resin formula, you need a 365 nm wavelength light to cure the new resin properly. Most cheap nail lamps have a wavelength of 395 nm, which is why the resin was being so difficult

This. You need a different uv light for the updated ones. 😢 Lots of problems from a lot of collectors unable to get things to cure properly.

They're called smoothie bowls, Jackie. ^^ It's like a cup of smoothie, but you pour the smoothie in a bowl with fruit chunks, granola and other toppings, like bee pollen. I didn't think you can eat bee pollen, but you can apparently. ^^; But it's REALLY good and you should give it a try sometime!

Hey Jackie, using as much uv resin as you do there is a store called let's resin that has a high powered uv dual light, it has a clear shelf in the middle and lights on both sides, it works wonders for my projects, you might want to consider it, considering our Canadian weather lol On a side note I love the miniverse videos, they re so expensive so I can't buy them often so I really love watching you make them!

I got one of those, found Gimli's double bladed axe. There was enough resin in there to make 4 axe heads... Which I still failed to do (it was my first experience with resin) so I bought clear resin and just painted it silver.

I was watching GBKahleen and he made the support for the frozen moment by curing a smear of resin on a silicone mat. It made it much easier to cover up and hide in the scene. It was really cool! If you have never had fried corn. You should try it. So good!

11:56 I too was wondering if it was the popsicle sticks. You can usually put different things in the resin. 😮Very weird, since you have the molds, at least, maybe you can try again with Sophie and Toffee’s resin (hopefully I remembered their name correctly 😅) and get some type of popsicle sticks 😊

I actually had a similar issue with the resin hardening with the potion resin kit. It was less obvious in the Skelegrow since the bottle is frosted, but in the amortentia I was trying to get some of the floating hearts to stay suspended and had one hell of a time even some 30 minutes under my uv light. I ended up literally leaving them in the windowsill to resolve themselves finally ;v; I wonder if it’s something with their new formulation of the resin

It's 100% the new resin, it needs a stronger light to cure fully. Unfortunately they don't seem to have this information on the packaging (or I missed it on there somewhere)

Being fair to them, not all corn on the cob is Mexican street corn. That would be a white corn, with mayo, cheese, and chili powder, not butter and herbs.

I like using the capsule ball halves for my geckos since I’ve gotten so many. They make good food bowls or water dishes and are super easy to clean instead of throwing them all away.

You should've covered the corn in the butter so that it was running off the sides and used it to 'glue' the corn cobs down to the board! Just make it EXTRA, EXTRA buttery!

I don't eat breakfast, but I agree w/you, it should be savory.The blueberry/berry popsicles also looked cool before you trimmed the melty bits. The paint job on these MGA Miniverse minis are top notch!

Omg those bear popsicles are adorable! I'm usually savory breakfast girl, like bread or porridge, eggs, cucumber etc, depenging on my budget or where I am having breakfast. But I do love have some cereal or pancake or jogurt, or mix savory and sweet :)

The corn holders are great if you have dexterity issues or nerve damage on your fingers. Keeps you from dropping or burning fingers.

The corn is my fav. If you get a duplicate, you can place the resin butter container in the circle on the tray so it looks like you just used the butter on the corn. 🌽 You could also pop the knife on top of the butter container

Hi Jackie! I’ve experienced the same thing with miniverse products. For thicker projects I leave them in the window for a day and usually it helps with any of the left over areas that won’t cure all the way. Maybe that’ll help 😊 Ps your videos make even the lamest day joyful!

I found the new resin hard to work with but I love that we get molds. I can just use my own resin and make as many popsicles as I like.

If there’s not issues with the resin, you might find minute holes in some of the containers you’re supposed to use to pour the resin into. I had some issues with some of the potion bottles having holes before I’d even started working on them, a friend also had some issues with the vases in the lifestyle series. I feel like they dropped their quality with the recall.

They changed the resin formula. You need a high power light now. The nail lights don't really work like they used to. I watch a lot of channels that do these. So many people had to get new lights to do these.

The disappointing part of this release to me is they are all duplicate recipes, which I’ve done, or still have, the original of. I rebelled and refused to send back my originals. But it appears they only want the actual unused resin back, not everything. I would really like them to do something about the ovens in our kitchens. 😒 And PS - to warm my resin, while I get everything ready, I put the unopened resin under my boob. LOL! It works FANTASTIC! 😆

For how much you do these like mini verses I think you should get because they actually made an oven and you can set a timer for five minutes and then do it twice for 10 and it’s really cool and it’s basically UV light but you can put your extra stuff in it and cook Your Miniverse fruit I got one they’re kind of expensive but really cool and fun😊

They gave us more resin I noticed in these new mystery boxes, but I still struggled SOME, so to combat that I used pliers! They work perfectly. seriously, no more straining your thumbs.

Regarding your breakfast question, I am typically a savory breakfast person. If I’m staying at a hotel I will get one of those giant fluffy waffles that they have pour dispensers for just because I consider it part of the hotel experience, and on a very rare occasion I’ll make pancakes (usually if I’m entertaining my adorable little niece that day) but otherwise I tend to do meat, potatoes or veggies. Although this week since my budget is screaming for mercy I’m having grilled cheese for breakfast to avoid having to go to the store 😅

Evan and Katelyn ran into an issue with placing wooden pencils in a mold that is not that different from this one. Crazy as it sounds, the best way would have been either of the following: 1) dip the stick into the resin, pull it out, let it drain off a bit. Tap down the mold, reinsert the popsicle stick first, and then slide the sticks through the bottom of the mold topper. Though barely visible, when you press a dry/different material into a liquid, a small amount of air mixes in in the area around the object (which is why it can be tough to make silicone molds by hand) - so, you have to combat the air. the other way I can think of, and this is conjecture through logic on my part, 2) would be to dip the sticks, pull them out, let them drip, affix them to something by the non-resin end, and then harden the thin resin layer on the popsicle. Then it's hardened resin into liquid resin. Since it's the same medium in different states, the air added in is much less, but not a perfect solution.

Jackie I think the fact that you warmed the first resin up is the reason why it didn’t harden properly. I have had this problem myself and I am in the UK so it’s always warm in my house so I think that’s why it took so long for you to get the resin to, harden

I bought my first mini verse and I really wanted a cupcake or cake one, and that’s what I got! But the resin was all leaked… I thought it was just a manufacturing issue and that all the resins weren’t leaked, it was just an error during packaging. So I opened the powder and put it in the bowl after washing everything. Then I went to open the brown butter resin but it was all leaked. Hopefully by Monday I’ll be able to contact the manufacturer
