Lol I was just looking at all the characters I know of and how crappy their childhoods were, like Percy got abused by his stepfather, Katniss had her dad die and then her mom neglected her and her sister, and harry was abused by the Dursley’s, JJ’s dad hitting him, dude 90% of characters have crappy parents/guardians
