@@jordankay4754 2 people from each part are micd for every instrument, literally all corps do this, plus they were nowhere near a speaker and our sound team is more skilled than to have it unbalanced.

@@Corpsiology yeah there are exceptions, like sometimes there are just really melodic solos that aren’t super technically difficult, but even with those I still want to see them improving over the season.

Why would you wear noise cancelling headphones to a drumcrops show? The idea is to actually hear the music. My first thought is maybe they're on the spectrum. If so, why would you bring someone like that to a drumcorps show, knowing they would have issues? I don't get it but it's a free country so yeah. Also, the record scratch sound effect is still way too prominent. They really need to cut back on that.

Actually, atleast for me, being a drummer and wearing noise canceling headphones reduces the resonance noise when you hit the drum. so you only hear the hit and that’s it, so drummer will wear headphones like that to make sure they are hitting their notes together. Or someone only wants to hear the drum part, and not the horns, because with headphones like that, the drums will still go through, but the horns will get muted a lot
