Valguero was 6 months ago/the previous major update too. And the new stuff IS cool. Just as cool as the dinosaur gimmick was when Ark first came out.

Meshing is still gone. You can still mesh in the game, but that doesn’t matter because now they have stuff to detect if you do. There are many ways to mesh. They didn’t patch meshing methods like people assume. They just made it to where you can’t get away with meshing without being detected. Thus eliminating the problem. You’re welcome

Dino comparison: Rex: King of Dinosaurs, has a large bite for tearing into flesh and eating small critters, does moderate damage and is rather slow, its roar scares anything that isnt a pube hair over its height Space Whale: A flying hulking mass of blubber, has the ability to literally go into hyperspace for less than a nano second, has a huge bite where it can eat prey even tho it doesnt have teeth, has a tail that it's around the SIZE OF A REX, the damage of the tail whip and bite? So the mesh fix isnt really a blanket fix for getting in the mesh, but a barrier for most places once in there. You get a certain amount of time while in specific places.... unless you can make it past those barriers then it's a free for all until you encounter another.

Meshing isn't back lol. You were just in GMC that's why you didn't die. The barrier is still there it only kills players not creatures so as soon as you get into the mesh you will die but not your tames. Technically yes you could be in the mesh but only for a few seconds before you get teleported or killed

Problem with meshing..... things die when under mesh after a certain amount of time. If it's unofficial, just turn on mesh killing (on by default) and it fixes all meshing problems. Structures, dinos, and people, get completely destroyed if under the mesh for a short amount of time, and they can't get their stuff back. Downside, some buildings that clip through too much also lose those parts. So it is fixed, just not in the way you assumed it was. There are plenty of ways to get under a mesh, bench boat, climbing picks still work, saddle dismount while below an object, etc. but you do die, so use at your own risk.
