Thank you Connie! This was very helpful to know exactly where to start the down stroke for the lowercase "a." I've been getting too close to the oval at times. Looking forward to practicing a few A's in the morning. :)

I love the technicality in your video. It shares the real information I'm looking for, rather than just imitating what I see, I can now understand what I'm doing. Why don't you do the other capitals also?

Also, I am really struggling to make the intersection of the hairline and the shade on the right look reasonable at the top (my a tends to look a touch too much like a very short d). Should the shade start at the waistline or is their room to start it a touch lower? I am working at 3/8" at the moment which seems to exaggerate my mistakes. Thank you again.
