Forgetting Lincoln's birthday is probably a sign of stress. When you're under too much stress you get tunnel vision and your focus is on survival. I am a mom of four small kids and I can relate to these kinds of "shameful" brain farts. Cut her some slack because you can never really know what other people are going through. If Bonnie forgot to feed Lincoln that would be another thing but I bet on his birthday he got great care and lots of love. That matters a lot more than making one single day special.

It was the 17th, I checked on Instagram. It's ok Bonnie. You basically don't have a house and have a kid who just had surgery. He's little and he won't know the difference!!

this isnt hating, this is just something i grew up with. I grew up knowing my parents financial struggles and i personally would say it put a lot of strain on me because i was constantly worried about asking for anything, even if it was something i really needed and i was always concerned about our food levels and if we would be ok for money. It's great teaching your kids the value of money but maybe dont tell them that you're struggling or can't afford big trips because you dont have any money. You probably didnt need to mention disney anyway and it wouldnt have gotten their hopes up

+Tami Gorman you are so fortunate to have such a large family. I would just encourage you to think about the affect comments may have on real people on the other side of the screen. Comments such as "I can't believe you did (blank) because I would never do (blank)" cannot possibly be helpful, uplifting or positive.
@cpowrs4918 жыл бұрын
To all of the negative comments. Sit back and think when you have forgotten something important. Bonnie has gone through quite the "stress" and she's still taken the time to vlog for us in her every day struggles. With Boston having surgery, to house complications and delays to growing babies.... It can get tough. For new viewers... Give her a little break and go watch her old vlogs... You won't be disappointed, plus her children are amazingly adorable and for once I see children actually playing outside, getting wet and dirty and not sitting in front of a tv all day! :) love you guys
@cpowrs4918 жыл бұрын
Oh and FYI ( yes I relied to my own comment ) sometimes I forget my age and have to ask my husband. It happens stress or not hahaha
@faythmomto58 жыл бұрын
If having nice upgrades to your house is stress...yes please I'd love some stress. I have 5 children and plenty of stress day in and out. I still don't forget the birthdays. How bizarre. I don't think she is abad person, but why admit that on camera.
@cpowrs4918 жыл бұрын
+faythmomto5 understandable, but some peoples tolerance for stress is different. Not everyone is the same. If we are going to make a discussion let me point out that it takes a lot of strength and self esteem to publicly post daily vlogs for the whole world to see. Most vloggers only video their positive moments and everyone always thinks they have a "perfect" life, but when it comes down to it... They are human, they aren't perfect and they defiantly make mistakes just like any other human. My father has forgotten my birthday my step father has forgotten my moms. As you can see all of her children are happy because they are all loved individually. :) sh*t happens haha!
@faythmomto58 жыл бұрын
At the end of the day her choices are her own. How to live, manage your home, and what to share on social media are all choices. If things are so very stressful perhaps it's time to draw back bit? That would be understandable. Forgetting you baby's birthday is a sign that things are too much IMO. Her husband is home every day. She has family support. Yes he kid has been ill, but if you'r still that stretched -take a break. everyone is entitled tot heir opinion.
@abbynguyen84408 жыл бұрын
+faythmomto5 you don't have to be negative,if your an adult show it she is just saying how much hard work Bonnie has been through and she doesn't deserve the mean comments Don't show your 5 children how negative people can be bc there is good people around the world - I'm a kid

So funny! Thanks for the laugh! At least it was still celebrated! Lol! 😂 A longtime friend of my father growing up didn't find out his REAL birthday until he was in his LATE 40s! His parents were strictly catholic and found out they were pregnant with him before marriage. They weren't even teens or super young either, but his mom was terrified of what her mother and family would think if they found out she got pregnant out of wedlock, so they covered it up by lying about his birthdate! They quickly announced they were engaged right after they found out (without anyone knowing of the pregnancy), then got married as soon as possible. After they got married they announced the pregnancy, but lied about how far along it was! They hid his birth until they reached the point where it was believable that they got pregnant after marriage, and changed his real birthdate to match their lies! Lol! His fake birthday was actually four months after his real birthday, but the only ones who knew about this his entire life were his parents. He celebrated his birthday on his fake birthday for over 40 years without knowing the truth! The only reason he found out was because he filled out a legal personal information form for something important, and it wouldn't process because things weren't checking out (it's a miracle he lived so long without this ever happening before). He contacted his mom to ask her for some more information, and she finally came clean! He was shocked, but at that point it was more unbelievably funny than anything to be upset about! You just can't help but to laugh! 😂😂😂

So then the hippy instructor lady was saying as part of the body scan things like, let the negative energy flow out through your arms. So through your pinkie finger, through your ring finger and then your middle finger - at which point I just had a spontaneous vision of Cody saying "This is my birdie finger!" last year ( that is one of my favourite videos) and I just lost it! I CRACKED UP. It was uncontrollable and I was so embarrassed but I just couldn't stop so I was just cry laughing in the middle of everything. Cody Clark you little comedian! He only wants to buy a dinosaur with it and save the rest. He should have a couple hundred dollars by the time it is full. Also he helps me go through his toys and we donate around Christmas or his birthday every year so other kids can have. Also he is a good kid cause everytime he sees the guys from salvation army he donated a dollar and the first time I explained to him that they give to those who don't have food or clothes or kids that don't have toys and so ever since he donates every time. Just so proud of the person he is becoming. I can see your kids are the same way.
