@@ardel-4964 It's an aesthetic choice and it also makes sense financially. Everyone has similar artstyles and rigging. This gives a sense of continuity and everything feels like it's "in universe". We saw how jarring it was when there was something outside the mold with Irys' first model. It was a gorgeous model but it felt like she was an outsider from another agency. Also having all the rigging be similar and not be overly articulated makes it a lot easier to manage/update across 100 models. The process is also streamlined and faster because a lot of the riggers are under contract. So yeah, a lot of indie vtubers have amazing rigging that is better in a lot of ways, but there are a lot of drawbacks too. It's kinda like ordering a $5000 custom hardline water cooled PC. Its like yeah, that shit is sick, but it's also a pain in the ass a year later when you need to upgrade stuff.

there's simply no way chat managed to actually get through this "maze" without making even single mistake. Especially when people troll on purpose - these kind of things take HOURS. Did they seriously thought chat can do it under three minutes? I guess they changed to manual after Gigi adventure went sideways; but at the very least that was genuine failure of chat - it was fun. Oh well, it was debut I guess.
