Nah, I wouldn't say worst. Randle/KAT might be worse. The Mavs can potentially be a defensive juggernaut for the next months, and end up winning it somehow. (I doubt it). But their window will be shut in their face 5 years early for no damn reason. For the Lakers this season is over, this might be 1991 Nuggets (or was it 1990? Whichever.) level of defensive atrocity coming our way. However, the next decade just opened for them. All they have to do is get rid of LeBron and they are ready to build. I've decided it's best for me and my family if I step away from sports altogether after the superbowl. I may return to sports next year & take my talents to the Rockets fanbase, but I'm absolutely gutted rn. I genuinely have not felt this bad since one of my best childhood friends passed away about 3 years ago. Between trading Nash, dismantling the 2011 championship team, wasting Dirk's prime with unserious rosters, trading for Porzingis, letting Brunson walk, and now this, I can no longer ignore the povery that *was* my team. Truly heartbroken. I don't care much for baseball, so the Rangers winning the WS was cool I guess. But this mavs team was the last thing I had left to be proud of as a Dallas sports fan.
