I'm so glad you said this. Because its alot of people who are single due to just like what you said or it can be due to them actually need to work on themselves more. Alot of people have entitlement attitude its because they all got problems that need to solve with themselves or they will end up single. Take me for example I'm currently single I feel like during this time I can deepening my relationship with God first and yes work on me to heal from my past However, I still haven't gave up on relationships or friendship unlike most people who do give up im not like that. Im just taking this time to let God lead me to better people who actually want what I want not just be a part time buddies around me or part time partner( basically people who values commitment and friendship vs people who are flaky about these things.) So I understand alot where you coming from.
