IT'S FINALLY DONE! I've been working on and off on this animatic since the end of July and I'm so excited to finally be able to show it off!

gosh the end was so cute, cuz its true, it seems like Benrey really did try to be friendly in his own weird messed up way and he just didnt know how to show that he did want to be friends with everyone it seems like Tommy was the only one that really tried to get him always, and he even had moments with bubby the hug was so good, it was just Gordon understanding that theres more to all of this, he is just alittle troubled and wants company

everything past "i never trick people into trusting me" is like the equivalent of eating chocolate with your eyes. the animation is just. really good spinning in animation really impresses me cause, as a semi-realistic artist (pfp does not check out its old art) i have a really hard time with spinning characters around. your style's cartoony but its still really freakin cool looking when spin. and the other stuff like the bang bang on the ground is well animated too. same with the stomp and everythin going all CRSHHRHH. for an animatic, you really animated this. good job!

AAAAA! Benrey's character design in this is fantastic. Brilliant. The gentle, round shapes that communicate softness or an ally contrasted by the classic hidden face and sharp teeth villain motifs!!! AAAAAA!!! The black and white contrast while most of the protagonists are primarily white,,,,, also I love the way he moves his body language and posture is fantastic. What a vibe.

I love specific scenes so much! How Benrey can change the environment he is in is such an underused element of his power. His pure size changes the game massively and no one uses it to their advantage and I love how it's used to him literally pounding the ground causing it to shake, the camera moving around him and then him stomping his foot causing the ground to rapidly terraform. I love those details

Okay, I've left two comments already, but I want to describe how much I love this in more depth. I've probably watched it over 10 times by now at different points. Every single time, I'm in awe. Things I love: - The art style! Simple black and white, and yet everyone is so shaped and recognizable. - The expressions. OHHHHHH the expressions. You can tell what everyone is thinking at any given moment. - It took me a bit to realize, but the fact that Coomer's pirate crew is RTVS and Holly herself puts a hat on him is beautiful. - Gordon trapped in a spider web. :) - Tommy trying to comfort Benrey when he mentions "loving his life". - The references to both the scorpion aesop's fable and All Dogs Go to Heaven 2. - The perspectives, fluid movement, and clear poses. - Bubby. Just Bubby. - The skeletons with the adjectives. And the little thumbs up. - Benrey dancing Gordon around and then dropping him. - The hecking fluidity of Xenrey!!!! - Science Team friendship has my whole heart. - The Benrey TURNAROUND. - The rocks rising up??? Coomer grabbing Bubby. - The Benrey smile shadow.
