this is a masterpiece and encapsulates every feeling i have tied to this show. i rememeber when i was a wee little orphan at the orphanage until it exploded. seven fucking times. my legs, my arms, and my torso were all vaporized. i got sent to the hospital and afterwards, i was really sad until i watched this anime. im still sad but i am happy because i bebopped without even knowing it. truly captivating.

They had the Anime on Netflix and decided to binge watch it for nostaligia. I remember staying up late at night at my aunt's loft during the Summer visits around the early 2000s. We slept on layout matresses with the nephews & cousin. We would keep the TV runnin on low volume so our parents couldn't hear and all the homies would sit on couch pillows and use the coffee table to sneak up snacks to marathon [as]. Most my cousins would knock out when Family Guy or Futurama ran, I stay up late wondering what else plays on [as]. I discovered Robot Chicken, Morel Orel, ATHF, and then ocasionally: Cowboy Bebop. Something about the theme song played on low volume on a summer night on a large television screen always had me knocking out before the show started. The tunes were chill to sleep to. Really glad I got to watch now that I'm older and realize what I missed out on.

back in 2007 I was a senior in high school, went to jazz band at the end of the year, band director goes "thought we'd have some fun with something completely unplayable for sightreading" he goes around handing out the sheet music, gets to me in the back (i played the drums) and puts TANK on the music stand...i let out the most intensely excited giggle I have ever let out in my life, i had been so into this show for a while at this point and it just straight up made all of high school worth it
