@@mattevans4377 Well, there isn't exactly a lot of thought diversity in most newsrooms. Fortunately, most reporters are professional enough to at least try to be fair. That's on the local level, anyway. Behind the scenes it's a different story.

Having working in broadcasting: Yeah, this is accurate. Except that the tech doesn't work this well. What fun is a live show anyways if none of the mics fail halfway through and you have to run on set, while the cutter frantically tries to cut around you as you fix it.

you should check out the game "her story" its an fmv game were you look through police interviews with a woman and you unlock more clips by hearing words or phrases relevant to said clip being unlocked to find more pieces to the mystery

I just checked out The Day Today - it is great. In the US, we had an under-appreciated talk show called Fernwood Tonite (named after the claimed broadcast location of Fernwood Ohio), and in its 2nd season it was renamed America Tonight. It had some of the best dry comedy of the era. And I can't mention dry comedy without mentioning the Red Green Show - all episodes of which are on KZbin! And the host now does comedy tours.
