I worked for Greggs for many years and I can assure you that, the staff are not allowed to take products home, everything has to be paid for, it is a sacking offence if you are even caught eating things before you pay for them!!

I guess it depends what one wants from these bags, they wouldn’t appeal to me personally because I feel like it’s leftovers that don’t sell by the end of the day and I would wonder why they aren’t selling? I’d personally rather spend the money on something I’ve chosen that is fresh. Good prices though I would question if it’s good value really

I feel the same way ...I'm not a food snob ,but I like bakery items fresh on the day ,I have a feeling that Greg's have their produce on sale for days ,apart from the hot Food !

I feel the same way ..... I'm not a food snob but I like bakery items to be fresh .....most of Gregg's produce has more than a few days shelf life , ( supermarkets too)apart from the hot snacks ! .I will purchase other reduced produce but not bakery items !

I wasn't impressed when i ordered 2 surprise bags from greggs and i literally got 3 sandwich items in each. Granted, its good money wise but there was no cake or pizza or pasties. I haven't got any since. But yh, completely agree with you. Seems a bit weird its exactly the same xxx

Good value but abit disappointing 🙄 I would say try others out I have started getting surprise bags from Costa, Morrisons and Aldi but I'd say Morrisons cakes and sandwiches bags are good even tried the hot food one which was good value for money and as a mum of 5 boys doesn't go to waste ,😁 xxx

I think Greggs in general is expensive now. It wasn’t that long ago I could get a sandwich, sausage roll, drink and cake/bun for less than a fiver, now all that would be £8/9 easy. The TGTG bags are ok if you go to the “right” one bit I’ve only done them a few times because collection is too late for me to drag the kids out

Thats not good that you got stale items you can complain on the TGTG app. I have never been able to get one of these I have 3 Gregg's local to me and none of those do these bags as I dont drive I cant get to one. Do you have a Greggs outlet near you they do everything in there cheaper too. I remember when the bakes used to be 50p and I loved the Apple danish they used to do but that is going back to the mid 80's 😊
