Even though Alex felt like he had nothing of interest to say, his personality, his way of thinking and experiencing life really shone through. I loved this episode.

Alex seems like the worst type of autistic person.

Forcing myself through the discomfort of some of the silent moments was honestly therapeutic

He's an interesting guy Alex. He's almost similar to Caveh in his self-aware honesty and philosophical musings being central to his character/art but it manifests in a totally different, introverted way.

The idea for one camera is not bad it just too slow the movements, it doesn't creat drama.

This is a pain to watch, seriously. Caveh I think you need to go and see someone. Crashed here from the Matty Healy episode which was a good watch but turned out to reveal quite a bit later on. I really appreciate the approach but at the same time am definitely heavily confused. And by the way, this cap removal meme is just mean on your guest here.

The cap removal is mean to his friend, not the guest, but how do we know that his friend isn't okay with this edit in the film project, we are just assuming how the average person would want to be treated. But then again, why does Cavah need to demonstrate the person's wrong opinion by showcasing Colin taking his cap off when the shot itself from the one camera isn't good enough, why not something related to the topic of discussion? Is it from the need to cast blame for the frustration of not having the correct amount of footage to edit cleanly with? But how can you judge someone for their nature, what if Colin gave the correct methodology gathered by his own sense data up to that point to give that suggestion? I think it's pretty clear how Cavah comes off to others in a mean-spirited way from Cavah valuing honesty over caring for their feelings, so he diligently isn't trying to lie and spread his 'truth'. But his 'truth', is just his subjective evaluation like all of us of how he wants to live versus most people. He states in other interviews he feels like this is a moral right to focus on the truth, but is this morality or just a rationalisation to not care how your words sound or come off to others? For what does philosophy have to do with not being a caring and peaceful communicator, from how does not a good communicator make his message not through the words he intends a message to come across as but instead of the interpretation that most people will view the words as. The ontology of the world for what makes a good communicator is independent of Cavah's own moral prescriptions of what Cavah thinks is right in a conversation. That doesn't mean he should be a good communicator, it's a subjective choice of who you want to be in your life, but I thought the recovering moralist would understand his own moralism.
