As much as I enjoy watching your videos, the more important thing is that you enjoy making them. Do whatever it is is you need to do to get back to that place. I'm not going anywhere. Oh, you could post the unedited roadtrip videos and I would still watch them! I have also subscribed to the new channel ( I like the name as it is now) and look forward to watching.

I certainly understand when something is getting to be work. While I don't make KZbin videos, my current job is starting to get in the way of other things that I might want to do, now that I am of retirement age. You crazy kid lol - TAKE A BREAK. If it's feeling like work you're probably burning out a little and frankly, life is too short. I got made redundant a couple of months ago and the break I'm having is really giving me a chance to reassess life and whats important to me. I'm somewhat stepping away from corporate life and focusing on roles where I can contribute to my community and get fulfilment from that. Best wishes to you

I enjoy your videos but I completely understand the feeling of it feeling like a job. I mostly make videos about working on cars and thats what I do for work too haha... but in all seriousness I enjoy your channel so I hope to see some videos in the future when you want to make videos again. I also love road trips, however until I got my tesla I never really bothered filming the trips, but the charging network and journey in a tesla tells a story at least so look forward to making more myself

Hi Lee, take a break, your audience will hang around. When youtube becomes a chore STOP. Myself and Kaz are taking a break. We might come back next year if we feel like it. KZbin has forgotten about the small channels. Years ago when you opened up the KZbin Homepage, you would see few small channels pop up. But today, just all the big channels. You put out an episode and get lots of views for 3 days then it stalls. KZbin says post once a week. Myself and Kaz say No, I don’t think so. Do what makes yourself and your family happy. Don’t be a slave to the algorithm. I am still a fan of your channel, you are much more natural on camera than I am. Cheers Shane EV4ME. “Grumpy old guy tech” has a nice ring to it. :)

Thanks mate, I was considering grumpy old tech guy, but I’m trying to keep it as short as possible and this way if people complain about how much I ramble I can just point at the sign. 🤣 I’d be lying if I said the numbers didn’t matter to me and yeah, I’ve seen the channel’s growth steadily slow over the last 8 months as I was putting more and more work into it. Hopefully with the new channel I can try to have more fun and not worrry too much about the numbers. Easier said than done, but will try. 😀
