I equally don't like them, but I don't hate them. But I really don't like how each are portrayed in most salt fics, whether it be Adrien salt or Marinette salt. To me, kt feels like it goes out of its way to make the other so unlikable they're out of character to put the other on a pedestal. It's just that most salt fics that I stumble across happen to be class salt + Adrien salt, and my negative opinion towards that sometimes gets mixed with my dislike for Marinette. Although if I put those feelings aside, I can see why some people hate them and why some defend them. I understand Marinette has done some things that certainly made her unlikable. And so did Adrien. In my opinion, both have a hard, stressful life to deal with. But the problem with the show is that they only focus on marinette being stressed out. By point is, even Adrien is stressed out. My question to the writers of mlb: why can't they focus on both of their struggles? Not just marinette, even Adrien struggles."risk" proves my point. Marinette is stressed about being ladybug and the guardian of the miracle box at the same time. While Adrien struggles to be perfect, because for some reason, everybody in Paris expects adrien to be perfect. Even though"perfection" does not exist. That is so stressful if you put yourself in his shoes. I hate this show because they only focus on marinette's struggles, and not adrien's. I don't really think comparing struggles is gonna solve it. I say, both ladybug and cat noir reveal their identities to each other, then they could go through their personal problems together. But to be honest, I don't think ladybug or cat noir understands what each other is going through. I wish they change that in season 5.

I agree adrian has a harder life, but we have to reamber people handle things better and worse. Not being sexist (since I myself am female) but we tend to be more emotional and social (not saying boys arent) in the show its clear marrinette can't keep secrets well, she's clumsy, REALLY SHY, constantly haveing to deal with bullies, and at the same time haveing to be the one who NEVER gets akumitised because world would end then. To add onto that we see in normal probloms she's very dependent on her friends and family and feels isolated and alone haveing to always lie to hide the secrets. It's also her fault that bad things happened such as Master wo so she blames herself a lot. Now adrian has been isolated his whole life. Makeing lying and and hiding his identity easier because he's not really close or dependent on anyone. He kinda just floats and tries to fit his superhero life into his schedule lol. I understand he has truma but most of it has nothing to do with his identity. So although it's important, the show dosent focus on it because he really has no problom as cat Noir. He constantly feels free being cat noir to get out of the trap of the name Adrian. The only cat noir related probloms is his crush rejecting him and being less liked by those in Paris. In recent eps it dose seems like there has been a lot less cat noir which is upsettin.. In the end though Adrian perfers life as Cat Noit so he at surface level has less probloms since while u watch the show the main thing u focus on is the superhero identity parts, anD his other core parts get left behind with the Adrian part. Pexause has cat noir he has little to no probloms and cat noir is 85% of Adrians parts. Meanwhile though less confident in her Marrinete skin, ladybug tends to thrive and have more casual fun while hanging with her support people and haveing to lie and hide from them has been hard because of her identity, leading more focus on her and in short spotlighting her probloms because they are more related to the show since it is a superhero show.
