I upgraded from Z Flip 3 to the Z Flip 5, and I love it! It's easy to carry. It fits in a small purse, pocket, or bra. I don't want it to be any bigger. The larger cover screen means I open my phone less often. These Flip phones aren't for everyone, but it's a win for me. Also, it's nice to see a brotha reviewing tech!❤

Now...I have an iphone 14 pro max and the ultra watch, I am debating getting the flip 5 and 6 classic as a second phone but I am scaredddd I haven't had an android since the early note!!! Helpppp!

i feel like all tech reviewers say the same things about samsung but lies about apple products. cause the cameras on the zflip 5 take great pics and vids. and the screen is beautiful. i have a iphone and a zflip and i love my zflip pics way better. i have a ipad and a s8 ultra soon to be s9 ultra and i rather have the s8 ultra over ipad pro. now the apple pencil is my fav apple product. i have a samsung book 2 pro and a imac and although i think samsung could have done a lot better i really dont like my imac. now i rather have airpods max over earbuds i love my maxes but i like samsung earbuds over airpods. long story short apple is not what they say it is. and samsung is underrated.

Traded in my z fold 3 for the z flip 5 Gray edition from Samsung. Just got it yesterday and I honestly LOVE it. Happy with the switch.❤

@@bigdrews4360 Definitely recommend it man. I received a S8 Plus Tab as a gift so I really never used the inner screen that much on the fold 3. Now with the Z Flip 5's cover screen upgrade, it just makes the phone that much more great. Love the vertical flip vas the z gold's horizontal flip. Taking me back to the old days when I had a Flip phone man haha nostalgic.

I don’t need the fold…too much screen for me. But I am getting the flip. I agree with you about bumping up the cameras a bit and the battery a bit. Maybe a touch wider but not too wide. My smaller hands love this phone, my techie side wants the stuff. Lol. But z flip ultra….I’m in! Lol. From your mouth to their ears and fingers crossed.

Ive always had the notes and all the way to s22 ultra. I got my Zbflip 5 yesterday. And man I love it. It's different. Slightly little from what I'm used to. But it's a beautiful phone and I love it. 👍

Personally, I'm a fan of the size and form factor but the lack of dust resistance, lack of appropriate camera hardware (for the price point), lack of battery size... like there is a lot to be desired there. My theory is, they won't throw better specs at the Flip until they ditch the Plus (as the rumors speculate) ...idk 🤷‍♀️

It looks interesting i upgraded from S10 to S21 ultra to the Flip 4. I almost got Flip 3 first instead of S21 ultra. The tmobile guy told me the Ultra was better in every way and I should let samsung work out all the kinks with new foldables. Now im going to wait for S24 ultra

Thanks for the vid and comments on the Flip. Still, I am not a fan of flip4 or flip5. I am also considering returning my fold5 for the S23 Ultra and waiting to see what Oneplus Open holds. I can say Samsung let me down on both phones. I am holding out on my Fold3 for now maybe still have time to think on returning, or I may hold onto the Fold5 and rock both it and the OnePlus Open. I think the big advantage of getting the S23 Ultra over these would be the camera, but if that's the case, then the oneplus phone won't solve that because despite these not being the best cameras compared to the pixel and samsung flagships, the cameras will still be better quality than any of the other brands... The oneplus hardware might come in better on paper, but that never seems to equate to better processing, unfortunately. They just don't have the resources to devote to camera processing team.

@@brianv2871 point taken. Just my opinion, the S23, and S24 are top-tier when it comes to camera usage. I honestly don't see the Fold competing in the camera area because people want the pen like the S23 to work inside and out and outside screen size enhancement. The Pixel even with cameras, just doesn't appeal to me. Someone said, "Samsung was smart it is a fold for a reason and the logic is to get you to open the phone not just utilize the outside screen". And OnePlus cameras are good once you adjust them but out of the box usage, no I agree they don't compare. Time will tell. Peace
