When Porsche finally let the design team build a 911 the way it should truly be, you get the T… not a race car nor the fastest, but a pure sports car that is true to the 911 origin.
@jakepeterson98359 ай бұрын
I am receiving my 911 T at the end of July and I CANNOT WAIT. I had the opportunity to drive my friends T and instantly fell in love. It is true Porsche expression, a genuine driver's car. It is crazy when people talk about the T being "underpowered". . . . They just don't get it. That's fine. As Porsche continues its march toward a hybrid 911 with the 992.2, the 911 T will be the car to have for Porsche collectors. Just wait.

By the time you have specked the car you may as well get an S or GTS as in my opinion they are a better car performance wise and better investment. I think the T is over hyped and no faster than a hot hatch.
@fastcarmagazine9 ай бұрын
That's a fair opinion.

I had a GTS and now a T. Much prefer the T
@jimdouglass16438 ай бұрын
A GTS is $30,000 more. For $2,000 I can tune my T to just over 500 hp. Plus the T is 200lbs lighter over a GTS. I’ve had multiple high HP cars in the 700-800hp range. None of them are as much fun as the T to drive. The is a thing as too much HP.
@donoghu59077 ай бұрын
The best capability is usability. Test drove the 992 GTS and wisely ended up with a 992 T. IMO (one seemingly supported by a bevy of reviewers and owners) is if you love to drive, the T is the better than the GTS. It hard to describe till you drive them both. You cannot look at specs on paper. Porsche has tuned an amazing drivers daily in the T. For me, that extra $30k-$40k for the GTS I would have regretted. The T drives better and the 385 hp is like no other 385 hp on the planet. Porsche has to be sandbagging the numbers. P.S. the 991.2 T has excellent residual value well in line with and superior to the GTS. So it’s also a good choice for the pocket book.

LOL, its an under powered S.

@MrSchn3ll9 ай бұрын
Can't get rear seat delete and some of the lightweight stuff on the S. Also T has a short shifter for manual and exclusive color/package options. S has bigger turbos.
@VK6AB-9 ай бұрын
@@MrSchn3ll Why would you want rear delete and the light weight stuff makes zero difference to the performance of the car. This is not a track car, its a road car with some track capability. The critical option is RAS.
@a0049 ай бұрын
It's 10k cheaper and you get some unique bits you don't get on an S. For me, that's enough
