Ikr I practically cried when I saw those well established trees gone.. good thing is, he did it once, he can do it again minus those mistakes.. and he's shown US the mistakes not to make.. I think that's pretty awesome..

Maybe spray the apricots with Surround WP kaolin clay. It forms a protective clay barrier around them. Surround only comes in 25lb bags, so you’d have a lot of it, but you can apply it to other fruits like apples, peaches, etc.

it takes a few days of 80 degrees outside for some trees to start giving buds i would wait for a week or two before i decide on Black Maderia they might come back

​My Black Madeira dis the same thing. No growth while all the others had full leaves. Interesting when I water it the stems from the winter pruning drip a clear liquid probably water. I just noticed some small buds starting after 3 weeks outside. So I think there is still hope.

Dang! You think it dried out too much over winter? Or it received too much cold damage before fully dormant?

I was a bit lazy with the winter watering and I think you're right, it got dehydrated.

They were in the garage. I thought maybe they didn't get enough water over the winter.

@@PAFigs those are just so hard to grow for most growers, and seeing well established trees like yours are a rarity in Georgia.. I totally get it.. We have jobs, kids, and life happens.. Some of the fig varieties are SO CLIMATE SPECIFIC that we have to practically babysit them.. and our hobbies don't pay the bills 😂🤣😂🤣
