Nanami was dead the second Mahito touched him. Nothing Yuji could do sadly. Mahito touched him for the 3rd time and now he could kill Nanami. Gotta remember back to season 1 when Mahito first fought Nanami, he touched him 2 out of 3 times. Season 2 now last touch means death. RIP Nanami, he just wanted to help and bring happiness to his students and friends. Mahito is a goated villain though, I love his personality for one, and how unhinged and unapologetically savage he is. His VA is legendary too, deserves tons of rewards for that spectacular performance this season.
