Jane your new dream kitchen is progressing well... Tony loves you very much, Jane, Tony is really trying to complete the new kitchen perfectly, with hick ups of French size cupboards small availability, no car and he has a finger injury to also work through. Well done Tony you are doing a brilliant job, kitchen looks beautiful. John the electrician is wonderful also.

The excitement is rapidly building as Tony performs another miracle. Jane soon you'll be filling up that lovely sink with sudsy warm water and preparing Christmas food on the brand new counter, which will then, well some of it, will be cooked in the oven which is looking good in it's new home...wow!!!

Moving along quite fast - appliances in, sink in, some doors on! That upper corner was certainly an awkward one to have to fiddle with, but Tony did it! So excited for you Jane!

I feel so sorry for Tony doing all this heavy work, I'm so glad that he has some help. Buying cabinets that you have to assemble is very difficult. Symmetry is the key to a good looking kitchen. I wish you the best of luck and happy holidays from Oregon, USA.

Jane the kitchen is looking good but as i watch the transformation i have to ask why did you not choose a stone like quartz or soapstone or granite for your counter tops instead that counter top is it MDF? It looked like it when it was cut fir sink.

Well we would have to wait for the fitters to come out, measure up, cut to order, deliver and fit that, we didn't want to wait, it would also be very expensive and this type of countertop is very hardwearing and hard to stain Suzanne, it is a laminated wood composite yes
