I remember outpost, one of the first games I purchased with my own money as a child. I tried so hard to get that game to work correctly on my 486 DX2 computer >_< , never could get past a few turns before it crashes. I've kept most of the games I've bought through the years but that is one I don't have the box or discs for, I gave it away to a friend with a better computer but he couldn't get it to run either :)

As they talked about in the video, he and pat don't live close to each other, it would be hard for them to do videos together for that reason Doing an interview like this is much easier, because, despite what some of you might think, they were most likely not in the same room, they were probably talking to each other over skype or something similar.

I highly enjoyed this video. Love MJR so much. I've been with him since 85.000 subs. He introduced me to the Game Chasers. I had no problem sitting down for 2 hours listening to this podcast. I wonder which people he doesn't have on his channel anymore that he mentioned. The Big JB is the first one that comes to my mind. He was on the channel a lot for a few months but hasn't been back on for probably 2 years now. It makes me wonder.

Limited Run tried pre-orders for Skullgirls and they apparently got burned pretty badly on it if their twitter account is to be believed. They've been pretty talkative about their business model on twitter lately as well. They set a print amount with the publisher and the release agreement ends as soon as the agreed print amount is made. The rights to print more copies revert to the publisher after the run and they are allowed to print more later. If the publisher looks at the LRG release and sees the demand to print more that are within their rights to do so. It actually has happened at least once already with Soldner X2 on the Vita in which Play-Asia printed an additional 3,000 copies. While the Limited Run release of 3,800 (?) sold out in a weekend the Play-Asia release is still available months later despite being even more limited.

In regards to Great Giana Sisters, that one is particularly tricky because it was only on sale a very brief time. Nintendo had it removed from the stores due to it's similarity to SMB (which was a cash cow). Perhaps ironically decades later a sequel was made that was exclusive to the Nintendo DS (with further, multi platform sequels since).
