Nisha, I'm at doctor's getting asthma shot. My blood pressure was high so I had a moment to watch. Needless to say, seeing my sweet and fabulous friend, made me laugh. Blood pressure returned to normal and I got the shot. Don't think your posts are unimportant. You have no idea how much comfort seeing you and your sweet family brings to many of us. Bless you.

I saw my grandchildren today for the first time in 7weeks. We social distanced eating ice cream on the deck. I woke up feeling blue but they lifted my spirits. I'm working from home and starting to love it. Going barefoot and wearing jeans during virtual meetings is pretty awesome. I don't know how my feet will acclimate to heels again.

Hi Nisha! I too always put a little sugar to reduce the acidity of the tomatoes. Even though my friend and I are both confined to our homes, I still cook small dishes for him. Here in Quebec City, the containment measures will be less restrictive but very gradual starting May 4th. In the general population we can say that it is more under control. But the problem is the residences where the elderly are already sick. During the release week before the arrival of covid 19, people travelled a lot and they infected their parents when they came back without knowing that they had the virus. Since there had already been a shortage of personnel for several years, the new government is doing everything it can to deal with this situation. My hat is off to the current Premier of Quebec and the director of public health. I am in an apartment and on my floor a lady committed suicide two days ago...very sad! For depressed people go get help...it's very important! I am anxious and depressed and I continue to see my shrink at the hospital for my appointments. And I also have telephone appointments! They are there to help us and it is very much appreciated! Take care of yourself!

Louie was such a good boy!! The meatballs look so good. You did a fabulous job on your hair too! I'm getting a bit antsy about being stuck in the house too - at least you can go out for a walk. I take care of my mom, who is 94 and has dementia, so I can't leave her alone at all. I used to get 6 hours of respite every two weeks, but I don't even get that now. Here’s the best recipe: half beef & half pork mjnce makes them tastier. You mix in cooled fried onions for the best meatballs ever! The less you handle them for rolling, the better otherwise they will become too dense & sugar balances the tomatoes perfectly, but making your own sauce is so easy. Omg, I cant believe how good Louie sat for his haircut. I have 2 poms that need a trim so badly but (like the rest of the world) here in Canada all things are still closed. You can get Worcestershire sauce in the grocery stores here in the US, but you have to order Oxo cubes from a British grocers. It seems to me that there are two schools of thought in the UK - you are either an Oxo person or a Bisto person! I can't live without OXO!! Yes, the secret to any tomato sauce is a pinch of sugar. You can bake the meatballs in the oven - not as messy! Love your outfit of the day! Think mine is better, more casual - yours is too dressy with the slippers! Hi Nisha, I have the same clipper. It worked well. Unfortunately we had to put our pup down this past weekend. He went into total kidney failure and was suffering. It’s been a rough few days here. We miss him. Also, thanks for the recipe, it’s getting difficult to find things to prepare for meals. We’ve eaten the same things so many times now that I believe somethings will never be eaten again after this is all over and done. Have a wonderful week and your hair looks beautiful.

It looks awesome! My husband loves meatballs in sauce. My great grandmother always added a little sugar to her tomato sauces. So I always do too! It makes a huge difference to the taste. Louie was so good while being clipped. My husband has ordered sheep/ goat clippers as we have two pairs of dog clippers which won’t go through our dog, KC’s hair. He is a Goldendoddle and his hair is more like a poodle. I am sure he will not stand as well a Louie but we will see. Stay safe!

I loved this video! Make more like it. So fun to see you doing different things. Loved the cooking. I bought the same clippers for my Shih Tzu! I groomed her on Saturday and I was surprised and how well they worked and that they didn't die on me! Your eye shadow always looks so great. You do such a great job. when I have to much oil in my pan after browning the meat I get out my colander and grain in off into a bowl. I've also have rinsed it at times because the meat had a lot of fat along with the oil. Your sauce looked great though. Yummy.

Louis is a smart cookie lol he looked like he was on a sacrificial table. He knew from watching Max...what he needed to do. His thoughts were, keep still...let her do what she needs to do, she did Max, she did her hair, I'm sure she has learned a few things on the way. If it's really bad I'll go down to the river and roll in some mud...no one will notice all my grooves then. Paul is bloody lucky he escaped her....I should go for a cut like his next time. She might leave me alone then. She may want to try that foil thing on me next.....added note: about a teaspoon of flour added to the grease will stop it from splattering. xxx

I just shaved my Pomeranian dog yesterday. All he has left is his head puff and fluffy tail. Looks like a skinned rat, but he’s cooler. And it’s starting to get warmer in Texas now. About the oil, fat doesn’t make you fat. Carbs do. We do have Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce here in the US and have for many, many years. I don’t use it in spaghetti sauce though. But we do use minced garlic in it though.
