I love how open, honest, and vulnerable you are with us. I’ve never had acne, but I do have eczema, and I spend an hour every night doing my skin care routine just to prevent flare ups, because one thing people will never allow you forget, is if you have skin issues. Hi Oma, I've got extremely oily skin too, but I keep it clear with this routine: MORNING 1. Cerave Renewing SA cleanser. Air-dry the face always. No sponges or towels, only palm is used on the face 2. Good molecules Niacinamide brightening toner 3. Good molecules discolouration correcting serum 4. Facetheory Lumizela A15 serum 5. Cerave ultralight moisturizing lotion with SPF 30 NIGHT On makeup days: 1. Take off makeup with a cleansing balm e.g Heimish makeup removing balm, cerave makeup remover, Inkey list oat cleansing balm, etc 2. Wash with Cerave foaming cleanser On makeup free days 1. Cleanse first with a micellar water e.g Garnier, Bioderma 2. Wash with Cerave Acne Foaming cream cleanser For both days, continue with: 3. Air-drying the face &follow with a retinol serum e.g Cerave resurfacing retinol serum, Olay regenerist 4. Moisturize with a facial moisturizer e.g Cerave moisturizing cream/ Cerave PM moisturizing lotion For the following night, I replace the retinol serum with Paula's choice 2% BHA liquid exfoliant. I've watched you fight acne for years& I know that you'll overcome it eventually. This is just a suggestion. God bless you.
